| Mostly, yes, you can do it. I believe there is some special technique to it and you might not want to drop them off at the corner gas station for this job. I think you are supposed to use a wider "scraper" and turn at slower speeds. I only remember this from the time I had slotted/cross drilled rotors and made some inquiries but then decided I didn't need it. I am sure someone else here knows more from direct experience.
